The first two days of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs have come to the end. After four highly competitive series as esports betting followers love, the first two teams that qualified for 2022’s first Masters became clear. The defeated teams of the first two days will continue their journey in the playoffs in lower-bracket. Let’s check the details of the matchups.

M3 Champions – Guild Esports

The playoff started with a banger between M3 Champions and Guild Esports. The teams headed to Fracture as the first pick of Guild. Starting on the attacking side, Guild had a great first half and won eight rounds with their two duelist agent composition. However, M3 Champions managed to come back in the second half with quick executions into the bombsite. Hence, the CIS representative got the first map point with 13-11. Sheydos ended the game with 321 Average Combat Score.

The second map of the series was more one sided. Because of the difference between agent preferences, M3 Champions had an easy attacking side and did whatever it wanted. Guild couldn’t stop its opponent on both sides. As a result, M3 grabbed the victory with 2-0 and didn’t disappoint VALORANT betting fans

G2 Esports – Team Liquid

The second series of the day was between two rivals, G2 Esports and Team Liquid. Two g giants began their clash on Split as the pick of Liquid. Even though the defensive side is stronger on Split, Liquid did a great job on the attacking side and grabbed 5 rounds. Following the first half, everything was much easier for Jamppi and his friends. They gave up only two rounds on the defensive side and won the map 13-9.

We witnessed two overtimes on Icebox. Important clutches determined the end of the match and teams weren’t able to beat each other in normal time. Despite ScreaM’s 26 kills, G2 Esports tied the series and won the map with a 15-13.

Following the two close games, the last map was Haven as a decider. Liquid brought a completely new agent composition into the game and surprised everyone, including its opponent. The fresh idea has worked and led the team to win the series 2-1.

Fnatic – M3 Champions

VALORANT fans’ most awaited series was an outstanding competition. Two of the best teams in VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers faced each other in the upper semi finals. The first game of the series proved how great this matchup was. Both teams put their bests on Fracture, but Fnatic was the winner at the end with a 13-11.

The challengers took us to Bind, which is one of the M3’s best maps, as the second map of the series. Regardless of its opponent, M3 continued its dominance on the map and tied the series with a 13-8 win.

The last map was one of the longest matches in VALORANT history. Extending the 44th round, Split became a playground where both teams showed everything they had. Eventually, Fnatic managed to beat its opponent with a 23-21 and became the first team that qualified for VCT 2022 Masters.

FunPlus Phoenix – Team Liquid

FunPlus Phoenix and Team Liquid stepped onto the arena to grab the second ticket for VCT 2022 Masters 1. We visited Split as the choice of Team Liquid, but FPX was the better team on the server this time. Despite picking the map, Liquid wasn’t able to stop its opponent in any way and lost the first game with a 13-10.
