VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers Week 5 Predictions

This is a great week for VALORANT fans as VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers returns with ten series in Week 5, including some of the postponed matches from Week 3. This weekend features many solid options for VALORANT betting, so let’s dive into the upcoming matches and determine the frontrunners.

Fnatic – SuperMassive Blaze

The “super week” will start with Fnatic versus SuperMassive Blaze. Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Fnatic hasn’t been playing in the league for two weeks and I believe it benefited from this free time by practicing a lot. On the other hand, it’s do or die time for the Turkish representative as it stands at the bottom of its group without a victory. Even if I think this will be a close matchup, Fnatic is my favorite.

BBL Esports – G2 Esports

In the series that two teams with one victory will face each other, both teams will try to pursue their playoffs dreams. I suggest every esports betting follower to stay away from this matchup since both teams are unpredictable and inconsistent. G2 Esports is the slight favorite, but it’s not worth the risk.

Team Liquid – FunPlus Phoenix

The best series of the week. Liquid on one side with its increased performance, FPX which started the season in a full swing on the other. If all conditions were normal, I’d say FunPlus Phoenix is highly favorite, but yesterday the team announced that the roster’s in-game leader ANGE1 won’t be able to play due to the conflict in Ukraine. BaddyG will take his place instead.

Fnatic – Acend

Another banger for the weekend. Two European giants will fight to take over each other at the top of the standing. Acend isn’t as strong as it was last year, but this is a decent opportunity for the roster to step up. On the other hand, braveAF’s status isn’t clear if he’s able to play or not. Acend needs to win this.

G2 Esports – Guild Esports

Guild Esports is looking to expand its undefeated streak against G2 Esports and the team is able to make it happen. Despite showing off good performances from time to time, G2 Esports is way weaker than its opponent. I think Guild will take the W here.

Team Liquid – BIG

It’s time to stop the rot for BIG. After qualifying for VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, BIG has been performing worse than it showed in the closed qualifier. The Germany-based organization couldn’t display its potential by now. Liquid is the frontrunner for this matchup, but if you’d like to take a risk, you can go with BIG.

Guild Esports – SuperMassive Blaze

I’ll be straightforward for this series. There is no chance that SuperMassive Blaze takes over Guild Esports. There must be a miracle for it to happen. In terms of both individually and tactical, Guild is the superior team here.

LDN UTD – FunPlus Phoenix

LDN UTD needs to win against FunPlus Phoenix to stay away from the bottom of the standings. However, it’s a hard task to complete versus such a powerful team. Although FPX had to change its in-game leader, it’s still the frontrunner.

VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers Week 5 will start on March 11 and last until March 13.
