The high-level VALORANT competition returns with the third week of the VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers. Featuring six close matchups, this week will bring superb entertainment to viewers, alongside great betting opportunities. I suggest you check our VALORANT betting guide to learn the requirements before deep diving into the article.
Guild Esports – SuperMassive Blaze
Opening matchup of the week is pretty one sided. The leader of group B, Guild Esports, is the front-runner against Turkish representative SuperMassive Blaze. After the tremendous run in the VCT 2022 Europe Closed Qualifier, Guild Esports managed to carry its performance into the main event.
Getting two successive victories against BBL Esports and Acend, the European force proved that it’s one of the best teams in the tournament. In terms of both the individual talents and overall gameplan, Guild has been showing off beautiful VALORANT and this is reflected in the results.
On the other hand, SuperMassive Blaze couldn’t start VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers as it wanted. The Turkish team came to the tournament with a renewed roster and it has been experiencing the difficulties of an adaptation process. Even though the roster displays quality plays from time to time, the team isn’t good enough to take place among top teams. Guild Esports is the pick of this series.
Natus Vincere – Gambit Esports
The upcoming week will bring a CIS derby and a decent esports betting opportunity. The underdog Natus Vincere will try to take down one of the best VALORANT teams in the world and keep its playoff dreams alive. It’s a hard task to do, but it’s not impossible as FunPlus Phoenix showed how to do it last week.
Despite being among the favorites of the crown, Gambit Esports took its first wound against FunPlus Phenix last week. After the breathtaking series that extended to the third map, FPX stole the first place from Gambit. But this doesn’t change the fact that Natus Vincere is a weaker team than FPX.
Even if VALORANT is a game full of surprises, Gambit won’t let any miracle happen. The Russian superstar Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov is leading the event with a 1.52 Rating and 286 ACS and he will be the key player for Gambit Esports in this series.
Na’Vi had a great start in the VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, beating LDN UTD in the opening week. The team got its first loss against European giant Team Liquid, but it gave hope with its promising game. I’d take a shot on the Na’Vi side, if its rival wasn’t powerful. However, Gambit is the only option in this case.
Besides the two series above, LDN UTD versus FunPlus Phoenix is a decent option for those who are looking for a surprise. In the series that FunPlus Phoenix is the real favorite, LDN UTD has a chance to upset its opponent.
The upcoming week of VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers has been postponed due to the conflict in Ukraine.
