The next step of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, the playoff stage will start on March 22. The playoffs will contain six best teams that qualified from the regular season and offer great deals for esports betting followers. Let’s look at the teams.
FunPlus Phoenix
FunPlus Phoenix is one of the teams that represent the CIS region. Qualifying from the respective qualifiers, FPX had a wonderful run in the regular season with four victories and one loss. However, the team will compete in the playoffs without its in-game leader ANGE1 due to the conflict in Ukraine.
M3 Champions
This name may not sound familiar to you, but don’t worry. It’s Gambit Esports. Because of the invasion of Ukraine, Riot didn’t allow Gambit Esports to compete in the event with the same name. So the roster resumed its journey with a new independent name. M3 Champions was one of the contenders for the trophy coming into the event and it showed how strong it is. Winning four games out of five, M3 Champions finished its group in second place and showed it’s a strong choice for VALORANT betting.
Team Liquid
The world’s one of the biggest organizations, Team Liquid, will take part in another playoff once more. Despite performing badly from time to time, the roster managed to earn its spot. But its future in the playoffs doesn’t look so good if players don’t increase their performances. Liquid has to stabilize its performance, this can get them to a better place.
Fnatic
The European giant was the only undefeated team in the group stage. Establishing absolute supremacy in Group B, Fnatic upset every opponent with its outstanding individuals and well-prepared strategies. The team is coming hot and it’s one of the serious contenders for the trophy.
G2 Esports
G2 Esports surprised everyone who didn’t trust them to make the playoffs. Despite having an undesired start and low hopes due to the recent results in tournaments, the European force found its track after bringing mixwell back to the active roster. In addition, it got consecutive triumphs against BBL Esports and Guild Esports and earned second place in the group.
Guild Esports
Guild Esports was one of the hottest teams coming into VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers. Dropping only a single map in qualifiers, the team also protected its undefeated streak for a long time. However, the squad’s performance decreased in recent weeks, losing two games versus Fnatic and G2 Esports alongside having a sloppy match against SuperMassive Blaze.
